DO NOT MOVE HERE!!
My fiancé and I have been living here at the cortona Fairview for 2 years and it is a constant struggle with these people. First, if you value privacy, stay away. They will find any excuse to enter your home and rifle through your things. Second, the maintenance people are perverts. They ogle at women and wait for you to leave to carry out maintenance request then leave dirt and mud all over your carpet. Lastly, we had to make an emergency move due to a bad mold infestation in our first unit. We were told repeatedly that there would be no fees by the manager, 1000 dollars in fees (and counting) later, that was a lie. They cannot be bothered to answer the phone because they’re likely doing “random inspections” and you’ll have to take time off work to go to the office and do their job for them. They wanted a review? Here it is.

I moved out 2 years ago from one of the company's condoms, and they still are keeping me as a resident. I have tried to remove my name from the contract again, and they have even suggested that I needed to pay AGAIN to be removed from the contract. So far, there has not been any consequence because it looks like the person who actually lives there is doing everything correctly. However, I should not be part of a contract that ended 2 years ago. The regional manager office's phone is useless, and the person in the specific condom has no power at all. It looks like I have to wait for the goodwill of the company to remove my name from a contract that I never signed

I’ve had ongoing issues with incorrect or unclear billing at Residence At The Collection, including multiple charges for sewer reimbursement, trash fees, and water reimbursement and so many soliciting. Despite reaching out to management for clarification, I have not received a clear response. I have also went with the City of Carrollton but also inform me to go to the landlord.
Transparency and communication regarding billing should be a priority, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope corporate steps in to resolve these issues for tenants.

DONT MOVE HERE. I greatly regret ever moving here. Only had to because we had to quickly move out of our last apartment and just went with the first one who approved us. Front the start it was horrible customer service. If you ever need to reach out to someone you literally have to physically go into the office and speak to someone. Or email which they take days to reply back. Locked my acct from paying online. They don’t care. Their 3rd party calling center is horrible. No mater how urgent it is they can’t do anything but leave a message. Fees are out of control. Paying over 2400 for an apartment that has had no upgrades. Dog poop everywhere. Garbage doesn’t get picked up even though it’s a paid service. No warnings or emails for when maintenance is going to come into the apartment. They literally send the request at the door. This is the apartments in CARROLLTON 4025 Huffines Blvd. I’ve complain and expressed my concerns numerous of times and no one has cared to reach out to me. I’ve never experienced this with any other company. 0/10. I’m happy to be leaving this place soon.

I lived in the Cortona apartments for a year a half and this was easily the worst living experience I have ever been a part of. In a GATED living where the gates are never working, even though that gets calculated in the rent, ridiculous fees like a $750 fee just to transfer you to a new unit, maintenance always saying they fixed things even though we had video evidence that they never even entered our unit, no communication whatsoever with anyone outside of the office, they will charge you $200 to clean your apartment when you move out even though they will not actually clean the apartment. You will move into a unit that is disgusting as can be, spiderwebs in each corner, urine stains on the shower and tub, and ridiculous prices and fees on utilities. It is hilarious to me how our HIGHEST utility bill happened to be when we did not live in the unit for an entire month. Good luck trying to talk to someone about this too, they will just tell you they will contact you and never call you back, or some person will email you and pretend like they care. That being said, the only reason this place even deserves one star is how awesome the managers, Taline and Merai were to us during our time there.

I wish I had seen the reviews before I visited Lantower Legacy Lakes in Lewisville. I was in the area with an appointment at a nearby property. I decided to stop by and saw they had a self-guided tour option. There was someone at the desk that did not seem the least bit interested in providing information. I inquired about the self-guided tour, and she just pointed to an area where I could scan the barcode. This system was cumbersome and not very self-explanatory. I had to upload my driver's license which seems a bit much not to mention privacy invasive for a property I may not even live at. I understand providing my driver's license to someone but this is ridiculous. I asked the best way to get to the model and she said i could walk. Now, mind you it was 108 degrees. I walked and it was not a pleasant walk. I definitely should have driven. The property was full of little gnats in the courtyards, there was lots of construction and projects that appeared in process, but the apartment I looked at was actually nice. I did get lost to the apartment and back. I walked back to the leasing center and was panting and sweating desperately searching for water. I went to the kitchen area and saw cups and a sink but the sink only had hot water. I sat down in the chair near where the leasing agent was talking to a resident. Although i was visibly distressed, there was no offer of water or even acknowledgement of my presence. I then asked for water and she went to the back to get a cold bottle of water. She was no longer with the resident and just looking at the computer. As I cooled down and rehydrated, this person did not ask so how was it, what do you think, no nothing. The person seemed uninviting and cold and really just appeared uninterested altogether. I say this to say that if this is the treatment I would get as a potential resident, I can only imagine how attentive they would be once you are leasing there. I now can completely see how all of these negative reviews are completely true.

Good luck with getting your security deposit back. I was issued a move out statement with the amount of my refund 3 months ago. I agreed with a representative to have my check available for pickup at their leasing office. They won’t do their due diligence to give you your money back but sure will harass you for getting paid.

The worst place to work at or live at period. No employee care or resident care what so ever. I worked and lived at a Lantower property for 5 years complete waste of time and energy. You have to be the regional best friend to get a raise or promotion. Properties are complete trash and full of trash and work that needs to be done. Managers simply don’t care to even answer phone calls or emails every call is routed to a call center and after that your request will fall within the cracks and not get resolved. Lantower had a lot of values when I started work for them and now everything is out the window it is completely business and money driven they don’t care about anyone as long as they are getting paid.
