If I could give no stars that would be more accurate. We get very little attention or service from the HOA. No accountability by the renters in the neighborhood because they are held to different standards because they "cannot receive emails". We pay $135/mo with no pool, common area or anything resembling service. Our lawns are maintained but they are tiny. Customer service is awful and they do not respond to the complaints formally submitted through their website. Seems to be the only thing they like to do in our neighborhood is send fines for garbage cans not being "out of public view". Matt is not helpful and is very sarcastic in his responses also.

Success Story:
Joined the HOA Board years ago due to my frustration with the Property Management group. Eventually and Fortunately the property management group changed leadership before we implemented a change. Ever since Matt Lyndoe took over things have been fantastic. Clear, Concise, Prompt, and Professional communication comes from Matt. This is what a Property Management Company should be.

We are having a very bad experience with this “administration”. We live in a new community in La Vergne and it seems they are not interested in paying attention to the complaints and suggestions we neighbors have.

But in January they did check if we paid the annual fee ($600).

We started from almost scratch with our HOA and have been working diligently to fix all the problems our neighborhood was experiencing. Debbie McCoy worked with us and guided the board through some very challenging problems. Today we are in a much better position and she is a big part of that success. Property managers can only manage with tools that they have to be successful. The previous post obviously is frustrated, but as a board member of an HOA, I know that there are many circumstances involved when you are trying to make progress as a whole. I don't know what that persons idea of the role of the management company ... is it that the management company is supposed to replace fence work? Maintenance is usually not part of the contract. That usually is on the board to authorize. I am sure that if the board authorized the upgrade and the funds were available that Hometown would put out a bid and get the project ready for the board to approve. Hometown can only facilitate what the board allows them to do. My experience with Hometown has been very good from a board members prospective. Hometown has provided excellent advise and made sure all approved projects were completed in a timely manor. I also have been very pleased with the cost of the contract when compared to the competitors. I feel very strongly that the advise given to our board and neighborhood has always been sound. I would definitely recommend Debbie and her team to other neighborhoods based on our experience.

Coming from Texas to Staunton Mill in Thompson Station I have to say the way the HOA is run in this subdivision is absolutely terrible. Lot's of homes in here with junk piled everywhere around their homes and yards. Homes with fences falling apart. Some with boards missing and falling off. The only good thing about living here it's taught us where we don't want to live long term.
