I made a reservation online and was called morning-of to be told they were not able to accommodate me. Why did the system allow me to make a reservation then?

They instructed me to call back; I did and was forced to wait on hold listening to their mind-numbing recording for 15 minutes before the call simply disconnected.

A complete waste of time. They advertise cars they don’t actually have, then try to push you into something else. The staff? A bunch of clueless kids playing rental agency with zero professionalism. If you don’t have a credit card and want to pay with cash or debit, be ready to provide a gas or electric utility bill—because apparently, proving you’re a paying customer isn’t enough. Ridiculous policies, false advertising, and a total disregard for people’s time. Avoid this place unless you enjoy frustration.

My experience with Enterprise was terrible from start to finish. After returning my rental in perfect condition, they claimed damage occurred and billed my insurance for repairs. The alleged damage happened in their garage after I returned the car! Customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and failed to explain how this happened. This seems like a setup to squeeze extra money out of customers. in addition, their general customer experience is just as poor. I won’t be renting from Enterprise again and caution others to avoid this company.

Terrible experience last week and today . The staff were very dismissive and not helpful at all. This was unnecessary stress when all I wanted to do was rent a car. On the walk in they were very friendly with frequent customers but with me they were unbothered and not helpful at all. Then the manager stepped in to help and another frequent customer came in and she immediately disregarded me and helped the other lady. Last week i rented for a week and this week they were trying to invalidate my paper work. Never again . So inconsistent

Horrible, I’ve rented with The company many times. My car insurance sent over a reservation, I never picked up the car. Enterprise put someone in the reservation and billed my insurance company for 26 days. It’s only because my insurance company is disputing the charges that I know this even happened. This is the downtown Brooklyn location. Called to speak to someone on hold for over 10 minutes. Everyone seems to be running scams.

I rented a car from Enterprise back in June and what should have been a standard transaction turned into a repeated source of stress.

From the start, I had to wait for nearly two hours in a cramped, stuffy office garage during the summer heat along with several other frustrated customers. The delay was due to Enterprise not having the cars people had reserved. I'd reserved mine weeks ahead and confirmed my rental by phone the day before. Eventually I was driven to the Crown Heights location to pick up a vehicle of a very different rental class—a "luxury" 4-door sedan (Reader, it was not luxurious)—instead of a mid-size SUV. I should also mention this occured on a summer *Friday*. I'd deliberately made it a point to choose a reservation time that would allow me to avoid the heaviest weekend traffic. Instead, this two-hour delay turned what should have been a two-hour drive into nearly five hours—with a dog.

For the inconvenience, an assistant branch manager told me that I would receive a refund for one day of the rental period. I patiently waited several weeks for the credit to appear on my account before reaching out to that same assistant branch manager, cc'ing the manager-in-training who'd driven me to the Crown Heights branch. When my correspondence received no reply, I disputed the appropriate portion of the charge with my credit card company.

To my surprise and disgust, Enterprise initiated collection efforts while the dispute is still ongoing. This aggressive tactic has caused unnecessary stress and wasted my time. I'm deeply disappointed with Enterprise's questionable business practices and their willingness to resort to such tactics. I urge potential renters to consider other options and proceed with caution.

absolutely terrible customer service. we booked a reservation and they called us one hour before pickup and said they are all sold out of vehicles. this is pretty absurd and a bad look for this location and company
