Tried to see a rental. When asked about pets, we informed them that we have a service animal. They told us we cannot see the property unless we go through a third party. The third party site requires that you agree to let them share your information with other companies for marketing. We told CFPM that we are not comfortable with agreeing to those terms.

We then let them know about the Florida statute 760.27(3) which says “Landlords cannot require a specific form or document for an ESA or service animal. Landlords cannot deny an ESA/service animal request if a tenant doesn’t follow the landlord’s procedure.” We did so politely and calmly. Their response was to consistently cut us off from speaking, told us “if you cannot follow our process then we can’t help you” and then when we let them know that was illegal, they hung up on us.

We were denied reasonable accommodation for my wife’s disability, which is against ADA and FHA laws. These people are not who you want to rent from.

This company is extremely shady. Upon looking for a rental me & my spouse let Heather know we were thinking about paying the rent up to 3 months due to an extra money being in our budget. She tells us to send the bank statements and of course she sees the amount in the accounts .. she then perceives and convince us that we write out credit information on our application because it’s a new protocol. Flustered, she did convince us but by the time she asked for my zip code I told her I wasn’t comfortable with what was happening. Both Heathers ( Heather Carter & Heather Lynn) hesitated to get whiteout when I asked to cover it. Im happy I went with my instincts and wasn’t easily convinced by these two conniving women, These two woman cannot be trusted and represent the company in such a terrible way.

Monthly lawn care was always late it was continuing issue. They did not return my security deposit even after I paid to have repairs fixed and the house professionally cleaned. Unreasonable and rude.

They denied that I paid first, last and security to move in. However if you look on the website you can clearly see that every house requires first, last, and security.

I recommend getting and storing all receipts of the payments you give you this company.

1st off they make listings that say lawn maintenance is included, but then somehow it’s not for your rental. They don’t reduce your rent due to the error either. They have no one available on the weekends if you have issues. They also leave you will less than working appliances. They sent someone out 4 times for a leaking fridge and it never was fixed or replaced. Finally they will nickel and dime you of your security deposit- if there is even a speck of dust they will charge you at least $100 in cleaning. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Incredibly shady. Forgot to drop of keys as I moved out and mailed them as soon as possible. 2 months later I’m still being charged rent because 5 dollar keys are worth 1600 dollars. I would advise against using the company or heather for any rental or management needs. Not to mention the padded reviews you see on here for employees.
